Cheese Festival Franschhoek

Had a blast.
After a couple of years of non-participation, I hit the annual Bien Donne Cheesefest with 8 intrepid explorers in tow.
The weather was crap, but the cheese was excellent. Luckily we could avoid the rain for most of the day and taste hundreds of goudas, goats cheese and pesto, while sampling some of the great wines from the region.
The group of seriously good looking people on the Happy Hippo Van came from the US, Ireland, Scotland and Australia. They made profound statements, ate profound cheeses and tasted profound wines.
Tonight, I feel that, after the third Bottle of White, the guys really started to figure things out, and the world will be a better place tomorrow. We'll solve global warming, fix the economy and eradicate poverty.
Or maybe not. All I know is we had a blast...
