PG TOPS is loving this year for the rugby. After victories in the Lions Tour and the Tri Nations, the only thing left for this puppy to be a happy camper is for WP to end a 10-year trophy-less spell and take domestic glory in the Currie Cup.
We're well on our way, and thanks to support from Carnival Court and the guys and gals from Long Street Backpackers, a good crew of newly converted rugby fans was there to check it out!
3 October saw Province deliver another crushing defeat to neighbours Boland. Joe Pieterson starred in a great match of running rugby, and a perfect sunny day delivered the background for some good bonding!
Province tops the log, and in two weeks I'll be back for some more boerewors, brandy and good times... it's a party!
